Exeter Chamber holds June 13 ribbon cutting
The Exeter Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for Exeter Tire Service, located at 153 S. F St. in Exeter, at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 13.
The ribbon cutting is to celebrate Exeter Tire Service’s return to its former location in the heart of downtown Exeter. Exeter Tire Service offers brake, transmission, steering and suspension, alternators, starters, belts and hoses, water pumps and mobile tire services. It is independtly owned and operated by Mike Anderson, who offers free rotation and balance on the life of tires and honors all tire manufacturer’s warranties.

Exeter Chamber holds June 18 ribbon cutting
The Exeter Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18 for the Exeter Food Pantry, located at 200 S. E St. in Exeter.
The Exeter Food Pantry provides meals to eligible individuals and families in need. It receives food from a variety of sources including FoodLink of Tulare County, Exeter Responds Food Drive, Exeter FFA’s Food Drive, other organizations and events and individuals throughout the year. There is always a need for more non-perishable foods, such as canned food, frozen food and dry goods.

Bank of the Sierra grant awarded to Walk With Me Family Services
Bank of the Sierra is pleased to announce a Sierra Grant in the amount of $2,000 has been awarded to Walk With Me Family Services. The grant funds are needed to support three programs: the Community Counseling Center project, the Community Volunteer project expansion, and the Military Family Support project. Walk With Me Family Services assists men, women and children of all ages with a focus on: family therapy, crisis counseling, advocacy, addiction counseling, nutrition, education, and supportive services.
The Sierra Grant Program is designed to improve the quality of life for the families, especially the children, who reflect the diversity within Bank of the Sierra branch communities. The Sierra Grant Program is focused on three areas: community services, park preservation, and education.

Tulare County agencies host Housing Resource Fair on July 12 in Visalia
Save the date for the Tulare County Housing Resource Fair! This free event will be held on Saturday, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Visalia Convention Center. The Housing Resource Fair will give Tulare County residents an opportunity to receive free financial, legal and educational resources to help families and individuals who want to buy their first home, are in danger of being foreclosed on, want to learn more about their rights as a renter, and much more.
Guests can talk with representatives from business, government and nonprofit organizations to receive help on their housing interests and or/concerns. There will also be activities for children and raffle prizes for adults.
The Tulare County Housing Resource Fair is being planned by numerous community organizations including CSET, the City of Visalia, Central California Legal Services, Tenants Together and the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office.
