Two years after it was approved by the Farmersville Planning Commission, O’Reilly Auto Parts has begun construction in Farmersville.
Construction on the project began last month at the southwest corner of Farmersville Boulevard and Ashley Street. The national auto parts chain is building a 7,735 square foot store with 27 parking spaces and two handicap spaces with parking in the front and rear of the 2.6-acre parcel.
The Site Plan approved by the Planning Commission in May 2012 indicated the store will generally be open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. O’Reilly will employ up to eight people at the location.
O’Reilly Automotive, Inc. is one of the largest specialty retailers of automotive aftermarket parts, tools, supplies, equipment and accessories in the United States, serving both the do-it-yourself and professional service provider markets.
