Tulare County EDC successfully awarded third accreditation

The Tulare County Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC) successfully awarded its 3rd reaccreditation process since 2002 from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

The TCEDC is one of the longest standing Accredited Economic Development Organizations that the IEDC has in its membership.

The TCEDC was formally handed its accreditation by Bret Doney, President and CEO of the Great Falls (MT) Development Authority, representing the IEDC. The IEDC is the world’s largest membership organization serving the economic development profession with 4,500 members in the United State and internationally.

The TCEDC drew praise from Doney at the presentation as he noted that Tulare County is part of only 2% of economic development organizations in the US that achieved this designation. Doney noted as well that the TCEDC has earned the tag line “California’s Most Innovative Economic Development Organization.”

TCEDC Board Chairman Craig Vejvoda noted that it was an exceptional year on all accounts and the EDC is well positioned to continue its successful track record of business attraction.
