Commendation on graduation coverage
Dear Editor,
A commendation on your recent edition regarding high school graduations. Your coverage was excellent and thorough.
Norma and Jack Mann are graduates of Exeter High School Class of 1945. Both grew up in Exeter and were married on June 10, 1950 at 444 South D Street. Norma and Jack are both retired public school administrators. Jack served as a school administrator for 40 years and Norma for 30 years.
We both commented on your excellent publication. You covered the east side of the County in a superb manner.
We are longtime subscribers to the Sun-Gazette. We recall the days of the Woodlake Echo, Lindsay Gazette, Cutler-Orosi Courier and The Exeter Sun. Watt Clawson and Joe Doctor were good friends when we were growing up.
Norma continues to meet with friends from her kindergarten class at Lincoln School. And Jack is a 66-year member of the Exeter Masonic Lodge.
