The Lindsay High School Guitar class gave a heartfelt performance as the newest addition to the annual Lindsay Cultural Arts Jazz Concert last Thursday evening.
The group performed four pieces including, "Little Fugue," "Castle on a Cloud," "Kemps Jig," and "Mi Sueno."
The guitar class at LHS has grown since its start five years ago. Director Nancy Wills said the 33 students in the class will perform quite a bit throughout the year doing between 10 and 15 shows until June.
This is the first year the class has performed at the jazz concert. The group was asked to perform at the annual concert after playing for guests at the Lindsay Cultural Arts Dinner.
Following the LHS students was a performance by the COS Thursday Night Jazz Band.
