Students learn hardships of parenting

By Nancy Gutierrez

Lindsay High School teacher Carol Jones has noticed students coming to school looking a little tired lately.

"They come in and I can tell they haven't slept because their hair is a mess and their eyes are sleepy," she said.

The students she's referring to aren't up late watching TV, they're being kept up by crying babies. Students in Jones' Health and Wellness class have been learning what it takes to be a parent for one night in a project involving lifelike babies.
