Musicians from three counties will gather for the eighth annual recital of the San Joaquin Performing Arts Group Saturday, May 1, at the Exeter Woman's Club.
The recital will be divided into several mini-recitals by age groups. Students between the ages of four and seven will begin performing at 9:30 a.m., with the adult violin group finishing up at 2:30 p.m. Average mini-recital length will be 30-45 minutes. Piano students will perform at a separate recital from 3-5 p.m. Each mini-recital will be followed by a 15 minute intermission, during which members of the audience may leave or enter. The $4 donation will admit attendees to any or all of the sessions. Refreshments will be provided after each session. The Exeter Woman's Club is located at 201 N. Kaweah Ave. next to Exeter Union High School. For information or tickets, call Myriam Harvey at 594-1502.
