  • The board approved a letter of intent to participate in the Central California Teacher Recruitment Center Consortium. The district has participated in the consortium since its inception, three years ago. Due to a change in funding the CCTRCC is now a fee-based organization. The membership fee for schools with an average daily attendance of 4,000 students or less is $2,500. An incentive is available however, which reimburses districts $700 for each teacher hired in the past three years up to the amount of membership. Districts can also use Title II funds to cover the cost of their membership. EUSD has four teachers that qualify for the reimbursement. The reimbursement would offset the cost of membership.
