Exeter FFA announces Greenhand winners

The goal at Exeter Agricultural Department is to provide students with the best possible experience so they can be successfully be placed in the workforce or in higher education.

Future Farmers of America (FFA) participation is the leadership component of agriculture education and is an integral part of every ag course offered. The first degree within the FFA program is the Greenhand Degree which they receive during their first year in the ag program.

This year's Greenhand degrees include Taysia Patino, Cody Baker, Gina Grisolio and Amanda Avila.

The three higher degrees depend on their participation at advanced levels. Activity in FFA fosters character building, communication skills, and leadership. Some activities include local, sectional, regional, and state meetings, workshops and conferences. Students earn degrees as they advance with the FFA and SAE.
