On Saturday, April 6, the Lindsay Kiwanis Club came out to clean several sites in Lindsay.
It is Kiwanis 1 Day, and the Kiwanis Club, the Key Clubs of Lindsay High School and Strathmore High School came out to paint and clean up.
The old bank building on the corner of Elmwood and Honolulu got a little paint on the weathered window and door panels to help the aging wood panels. The paint seemed to clean up the building some.
Fair Oaks Insurance got a hand with the removal of the tattered awnings.
The parking lot on Elmwood got some much needed weed removal from Key Club volunteers. The Lindsay Kiwanis Club is a community service club that supports the City of Lindsay and the efforts to make the City a beautiful place to live.
Meetings of the Lindsay Kiwanis Club are on Thursdays at Noon at the Wellness Center and all are invited to attend and to help in the community support efforts.
