LINDSAY – Lindsay Kiwanis Club recognizes Lindsay Unified School District learners who are Thoughtful-Enthusiastic-Respectful-Responsible-Inclusive-Friendly-Inquisitive-Capable (TERRIFIC) and who serve their community (school and/or Lindsay). This month, Lindsay Kiwanis Club recognizes two learners from Lindsay High Learning Community.

Ethan Hernandez has embraced online learning. He has worked very hard and participates daily in class discussions. Ethan will ask questions to ensure he understands his assignments and what is expected from him. Ethan is enthusiastic and respectful. He leads by example—he is diligent and maintains a positive attitude during any situation.
Sophia Navarro
Sophia Navarro is a friendly, thoughtful learner who is a joy to be around. She participates in her distance learning Zoom sessions and is always inclusive to other learners. She initiates conversations during class and helps other learners. Sophia is very responsible and has been tasked with being in charge and leading the class brain breaks. Sophia is a great asset to her learning environment and to the Roosevelt Learning Community.
