VA clinic transfers operations from Tulare to Visalia

New VA clinic opens on Santa Fe Street in Visalia as Tulare VA clinic wraps up operations

VISALIA – The VA clinic in Tulare closed its doors for the final time last week. As of Monday, May 20, veterans are able to start receiving care at the newly established VA clinic in Visalia.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Visalia clinic was held on May 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. at 500 N. Santa Fe Street. Veterans and their families joined the celebration, marking a significant milestone in providing exceptional healthcare services to veterans.

The Tulare VA Clinic on Cherry Street had its final day on May 15. Over the next couple of days, staff underwent orientation and mandatory training on May 16 and 17 to prepare for the new clinic.

The VA expressed its deepest gratitude to its exceptional staff and the veterans served. The organization looks forward to continuing to provide exceptional healthcare services at the new Visalia VA clinic and appreciates the community’s support and understanding during the transition.
