The Tulare County Symphony will perform its annual holiday concert on Friday (not its usual Saturday), Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Visalia Fox Theatre.
It’s a concert full of fun and holiday favorites for the entire family. Highlights include a medley from “Polar Express,” selections from the “Nutcracker Suite” with an unusual twist, and a performance of “My Christmas Tree” by elementary school choirs under the direction of Caitlin Johansen.
Well known local flutist Tracy Harris will perform “Winter Night,” and Sarah Hunt will sing the humorous “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.”
There will also be a holiday sing-along and the traditional “Hallelujah Chorus” from The Messiah, with a chorus under the direction of Churchill Cook.
