A 911 call reporting a fight in progress came into the Lindsay Police Department at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29.
A car was immediately dispatched to 521 N. Mirage Ave. where Orlando Carrillo, 20, was found in the middle of the street with multiple stab wounds to his abdomen.
A second victim, Eusebio Vasquez, 30, was found inside the residence with multiple stab wounds to the back. Both victims were transported to Sierra View Hospital where both underwent emergency surgery.
Vasquez died on the table. Carrillo is in stable condition and now in custody for the murder of Vasquez.
The Lindsay Police Department requested the assistance of the Tulare County District Attorney's Office and the Tulare County Sheriff's Crime Lab in handling the crime. The motive to the stabbing was still under investigation as of press time.
