Clearly the Lindsay Chamber of Commerce was thinking positive when they had 150 programs printed up for the Community Christmas Celebration at Lindsay City Hall last week.
The long-standing event, where the city Christmas tree is lighted and carols are sung, didn't draw much more than a dozen people, not counting those actually putting on the program.
Maybe it's just too hectic a time, and asking too much to have Santa make two trips to Lindsay, the other one being Santa Claus Night on the 19th for the big toy give-away at the Lindsay Police and Fire departments.
