Paugh donates mountain of plush toys

By Carolyn Barbre

Now that he has retired from Strathmore Packing House, Don Paugh has more time to pursue his gambling addiction. But this is a good gambling addiction.

Readers may recall that Paugh donated 205 toys last year to the Lindsay Chamber of Commerce Angel Tree project. He has beat that record and more.

"This year I gave them 350 toys." Paugh said he also donated to a preschool, about 35 toys to a class at Sunnyside Elementary School in Strathmore, another 25 to a first grade class in Porterville, and some to a teacher who does preschool work out in the field.
