The Tulare County Board of Supervisors appointed Brian Haddix, former undersecretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency, as the county's new chief administrative officer at its Dec. 9 meeting.
Haddix, 48, will replace current CAO Janet Hogan who will step down on Dec. 31. After three years as the county's top administrator - which includes preparing the county budget and managing the day-to-day business of the county - Hogan said she was leaving for personal reasons. Haddix will take over on Jan. 5 at a salary of $142,000.
