Readers are already familiar with early bird candidates for District 1 Supervisor Marlene Sario and Frank "Bud" Pinkham, both of Exeter, and Allen Ishida of Lindsay.
This issue we introduce you to the late filers, Ruben Macareno of Farmersville, Gary Potter of Three Rivers and early filer, late campaigner Harroll Wiley of Visalia. The term for a newly elected supervisor begins January 2005. Candidates need a majority of the votes - 50 percent plus at least one vote - or they face a runoff between the top two vote-getters in November.
