Tulare County Sheriff's Department narcotics units concluded a two week investigation on Sept. 2 arresting seven people at two addresses in Exeter.

Detectives with the sheriff's department's Narcotics Task Force, Inter-Agency Narcotic Enforcement Team, Clandestine Lab Enforcement Unit, Tulare County SWAT team and the Exeter Police Department served a search warrant on suspicion of a meth lab operating at 1464 Mary Court. Found at the residence were five grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $500, drug paraphernalia, a handgun and several rifles, stolen road signs and counterfeit $50 bills. All three subjects displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Arrested were Dana Lea Jones, 44, Buck William Lee, 21, and Juan Miguel Sanchez, 27, all of 1464 Mary Court in Exeter. All three were booked in the Tulare County Main Jail on charges of possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to sell, possession of a firearm during a commission of felony, maintaining a house for narcotics use and sales, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property and possession of counterfeit money. Bail was set at $30,000 for each of them.

Detectives made four more arrests at 2376 E. Morgan Road after receiving a report of marijuana cultivation at the residence. Detective obtained permission to search the residence by Pedro Morales. Officers found six marijuana plants hidden behind a shed on the property. The plants were approximately 6 feet tall with an estimated street value of $24,000.

Morales, 36, of 2376 E. Morgan Road, was arrested on charges cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He is being held at the Tulare County Main Jail on a $50,000 bail. Also arrested were James Boswell, 27, of 21886 Avenue 247 in Lindsay and Comello Munoz, 44, of 509 E. Firebaugh Ave. Boswell was arrested on charges of possession of a small quantity of cocaine, estimated street value of $100, and a small quantity of marijuana. He is being held on $10,000 bail. Munoz was arrested on charges of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and a an outstanding warrant for DUI, hit-and-run and driving on a suspended license. He is being held on $10,000 bail for the possession charges and another $10,000 for the warrant.
