A Strathmore man killed his stepdaughter and then took his own life in her front yard, leaving a list of unanswered questions about what events led up to the murder-suicide.

Tulare County Sheriff's deputies responded to a a report of shots fired in the 22000 block of Harber Street near Merideth in Strathmore at about 10:30 a.m. on June 2.

They found Pablo Arredondo, 45, of Strathmore lying in the front yard of his stepdauhter's home with a gun shot wound to the head. He was immediately transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries at 12:08 p.m.

His stepdaughter, Rosalinda Galindo, 42, was found dead inside her home with numerous gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

According to investigators, Arredondo, who lives two houses away, walked down to Galindo's home, entered the residence and shot her several times before going outside and shooting himself in the head.

Investigators are not speculating on what the motive of the crime could have been. As of press time, no family members have made any statements as to what led Arredondo to kill his stepdaughter. Galindo left behind three children.
