On Tuesday, Sept. 11 the Woodlake Tigers traveled to Sierra Pacific to take on the Golden Bears. Selena Harrison, Dalila Vazquez and Joee Denis all defeated their opponent. Harrison won 8-6 while Vazquez and Denis both defeated their opponents 8-6. Sierra Pacific would defeat Paris Carlsen 8-4 and also Selina Ramirez 8-4.

In doubles play Woodlake took two of the three matches as Selena Harrison and Dalia Vazquez defeated Ashley Brown and Narisa Gascon 8-5 in match while Joee Denis and Paris Carlsen defeated Morgan Gong and Christina Gong 8-5.

On Thursday, Sept. 13, the Tigers were on the court once again as the Tigers took on Strathmore in a league match up.

Selena Harrison defeated Jessica Moreno 8-4. The Tigers also picked up victories from Joee Denis who defeated her opponent 8-6 and Paris Carlsen defeated Pranavi Yalamanchili 8-3.

In doubles play it was Selena Harrison and Dalila Vazquez defeating Jessica Moreno and Marisa Tsuboi 8-2 while Joee Denis and Paris Carlsen defeated Pranavi Yalamanchili and Alyssa Remigio 8-4.

Woodlake improve to 6-2 overall on the season and is also 4-1 in league play. Woodlake will take on Corcoran on Tuesday, Sept. 18 in Corcoran and then will be back on the court on Thursday, Sept. 20 at home against Lindsay High School.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11 the Lindsay Cardinals took on the Orange Cove Titans in Lindsay. The Cardinals fell to the Titans 5-4. Lindsay picked up victories from Michele Whitehair who defeated Sandra Lua 8-2 and Brittany Brumley defeated Tiffany Salas 8-5.

In doubles play, Lindsay was able to take 2-3 matches against the Titans. Michele Whitehair and Nicole Sanchez picked up the victory over Celina Maldonado and Josceline Garcia 8-3 while Elizabeth Lopez and Rosa Ibarra defeated Menerva Ortas and Brenda Canchola 8-4.

On Thursday, Sept. 13, the Cardinals traveled to Orosi to take on the Orosi Cardinals. The Lindsay Cardinals were only able to pick up two victories as Kd Rojas defeated Leny Justi 8-6.

In doubles play, Michele Whitehair and Nicole Sanchez defeated Raquel Campuzano and Alejandra Barajas to pick up the other victory for Lindsay.

The Lindsay Cardinals will be back on the court Tuesday, Sept. 18 in Strathmore. Then the Cardinals will head to Woodlake to take on the Cardinals on Thursday, Sept. 20.
