On Tuesday, Sept. 18 the Woodlake Tigers took on Corcoran in a league match up. Corcoran would get the early victory as Chona Samareta of Corcoran would defeat Woodlake’s Selena Harrison 8-1. Both Dalila Vasquez and Joee Denis would pick up victories for the Tigers as Vasquez defeated Edith Mata 8-2 and Denis defeated Alina Vasquez 8-4.

In doubles play it was Selena Harrison and Dalila Vazquez defeating Edith Mata and Teji Dulai 8-0 as the Tigers only victory in doubles play.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18 the Lindsay Cardinals lost to Strathmore 9-0. Lindsay battled but just could not pick up a victory. In a battle of No. 1’s, Lindsay’s Joanna Castro was defeated by Strathmore’s Jessica Moreno 8-5.

On Thursday, Sept. 20, Lindsay went on the road to take on the Woodlake Tigers. The Cardinals would fight hard but fell to the Tigers 8-1. The Cardinals only victory came in the last match in doubles play we Rosa Ibarra and Elizabeth Lopez defeated Regina Lewis and Bridget Lima 8-7.

Lindsay will be on the road to take on Granite Hills on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18, Exeter was at home against Central Valley Christian in a league matchup. CVC won the first two matches against Hunter Johnson and Audrey Flores. But then Victoria Douglass and Alisa Flores would pick up the victories for Exeter as Douglass defeated CVC’s Lauren Jameson 6-4, 4-6, and 7-3 and Flores would defeat Allanah Jameson 6-3 and 6-3. The Cavilers would pick up the next two victories in singles play.

CVC picked up the win when Emily Whyte and Nicole Bouvia defeated Hunter Johnson and Victoria Douglass 8-2. Exeter would go on to win the final two matches but it was too little to late as Exeter falls to CVC 5-4.
