‘Dogs hit the air waves

FRESNO, Calif. – Time Warner Cable SportsNet announced Friday that it has reached an agreement with Comcast Sports Net (CSN) to televise five of Fresno State’s football games, starting with this Saturday’s game against San Diego State.

The San Diego State game is set to air on CSN Bay Area Saturday at 7 p.m. when the Bulldogs and Aztecs square off for the 52nd time against one another. Ari Wolfe (play-by-play) and J.J. Stokes (analyst) are calling Saturday’s game on TV.

CSN Bay Area will also televise TWCSN’s broadcast of Fresno State’s Oct. 6 game at Colorado State and the Oct. 20 game against Wyoming.

The final two Bulldog games CSN will carry are the Oct. 27 game at New Mexico, on CSN California, and the Nov. 3 home game against Hawai’i, on CSN Plus.

The announcement of the agreement between TWCSN and CSN means that 11 of Fresno State’s 12 games will be televised this season. The only game that did not air was the season opener back on Sept. 1 against Weber State, which the Bulldogs won 37-10.
