Three people were arrested earlier this month following a rash of burglaries in Woodlake.
All three burglaries happened between Oct. 14-15 within the city limits. In all, approximately $10,000 worth of property was stolen from the residences. The break-ins also caused damage to the homes.
On Oct. 17, Woodlake Police Officers responded to 384 S. Valencia Blvd. regarding this investigation. Upon arrival, officers observed evidence outside the residence that linked the suspect(s) to the thefts. Officers contacted Robert Michael Costa, 37, Jarrod Paul Johnson, 30, and Maria Rosalva Orozco, 28.
After a lengthy investigation Officers were able to locate approximately $6,000 worth of stolen property as well as methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia within the home.
Costa and Johnson were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property. Orozco was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. All three subjects were booked into the Tulare County Main Jail.
