Christmas trees grow money for 20 non-profits

Visalia Chamber of Commerce holds 37th Annual Christmas Tree Auction on Friday, Dec. 8

VISALIA – Generosity and grandeur are combined as the Visalia Chamber of Commerce presents the 37th Annual Christmas Tree Auction Masquerade Ball set to kick off Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at the Visalia Convention Center.

The Annual Christmas Tree Auction raises money and awareness for non-profit organizations impacting Visalia. More than $4 million have been raised for local charities over the last 36 years. Underscoring the significance of this annual event, the Christmas Tree Auction is the primary fundraising mechanism for participating non-profits.

Volunteers have already started to design and decorate 14 elaborate Christmas trees to be auctioned off live the night of the event. Additionally, that evening silent auction items, including small Christmas trees will benefit more than 20 local charities.

Hosted by the Visalia Chamber of Commerce, the Annual Christmas Tree Auction has become a local holiday tradition. Each year more than 1,200 people dressed in their finest holiday attire kick off the season with a giving spirit. This year, the Christmas Tree Auction has been re-imagined as the Visalia Chamber introduces a new event layout with exciting new features which will help to feature the non-profits and the local restaurant partners providing food for the evening. This year’s event includes an appearance by the Golden West Drum line, live music by Run4Cover, and a special Mask-ed Sponsor surprise during the evening.

Don’t miss the chance to generously support the work of local non-profits and kick off the holiday season with the most festive party in town. Attendees have the choice to attend the Christmas Tree Auction on a General Admission ticket

General admission tickets are $70 and include wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, live and silent tree auctions, dessert, live music and dancing. Tickets may be purchased online at
