Interactive dinosaur exhibit T-Rex Planet returns to Visalia Convention Center this weekend

VISALIA –This weekend, Jan. 20 and 21, dinosaurs will roar, gnash their teeth and claw their talons through the halls of the convention center as part of the T-Rex Planet exhibit. This event simulates what it would be like to experience the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods first hand.

There will be a range of fun and engaging activities designed to appeal to and engage all members of the family. The main exhibit features life size ultra-realistic animatronic dinosaurs; over 40 life like dinosaurs in all with the rides and the skeletons. Children can look at these creatures, learn about them and even ride a few including a T. Rex ride and a walking baby Triceratops ride. T-Rex Planet features realistic scenes, enormous dinosaurs, cute baby dinosaurs, a Dinosaur band, and lots of fun activities for children of all ages. “Tracey” (a young T-Rex) greets guests at noon, 3 p.m., and 6 p.m., and can be found walking and playing around the exhibit during those times.
