At 6:25 a.m. on Sept. 20, 2016, the Lindsay Department of Public Safety received a report of a prowler peering through windows into a home in the 400 block of N. Mirage Ave. The occupant was able to provide officers with a home surveillance video showing the peeping Tom entering the backyard of the property and peering through the windows for sexual gratification. The Lindsay Department of Public Safety described the video as “very disturbing and difficult to watch.”

Officers searched the area for the suspect and stopped and questioned someone in the area at 7:15 a.m. Two days later, on Sept. 22, Lindsay detectives served a search warrant at Ibarra’s home.

Judge Antonio Reyes has scheduled sentencing for March 2, 2018, in Department 19 of the South County Justice Center. The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Aaron Corey of the Porterville Division and investigated by the Lindsay Police Department.
