La Marcha brings the beats

Seven-member band plays cumbia, meringue, bachata, funk at Cellar Door on July 20

VISALIA – Fast, versatile and fun, La Marcha is hip swinging its way to Visalia this month.

The seven-member band will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 20 at The Cellar Door, 101 W. Main St. in Visalia. They will be joined by singer Sonia Lupian and will be promoting their new single titled “La Facebukera” which will be available for download on all platforms on Aug. 1.

The band describes themselves as “a versatile group of musicians, providing quality entertainment and looking good while doing it.” The all-male band has all the swagger and machismo needed to set the tone for a night filled with dancing to the drums of cumbia, merengue, bachata, and even a little funk.
