Detectives also seize five guns in rural communities of southeast Tulare County
TULARE COUNTY – A routine check of probationers and parolees resulted in the arrest of 28 people in southeast Tulare County.
Between Jan. 16 and 19, detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Criminal Apprehension Team (CATTCH), Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Teams (TAGNET), Tulare County Probation and State Parole conducted several parole and probation compliance checks and tracked down several people wanted for outstanding warrants. Detectives concentrated on the south east area of Tulare County, which includes the communities of Richgrove, Terra Bella, Ducor, and the Tule Indian Reservation.
The 28 people were arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail on a variety of charges ranging from public intoxication to being a felon in possession of a firearm. In fact, detectives seized five guns during the searches.
