Exeter Chamber of Commerce surprises locals with their annual Man, Woman, Business of the Year, Heritage and Beautification award winners and Recycler of the Year
EXETER – Those who work behind the scenes to ensure Exeter’s small town charm and economic vitality were surprised by the Exeter Chamber of Commerce the last few weeks as recipients of the its annual awards.
The winners will formally accept their awards during the chamber’s 97th annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, Feb. 22. The event honors those whose commitment, dedication and teamwork has made a positive impact on the people, quality of life and the business community of Exeter. The honorees for the year 2019 are: Woman of the Year Carole Dillon; Man of the Year Charles Duby; Heritage Award recipient Kristie Brasiel; Business of the Year PRO-PT Physical Therapy; and Beautification Award recipient Exeter Bark Park. Business of the Year is selected based on its impact in the community in developing a positive workforce and strong business principles. The beautification criteria is given to businesses or organizations that constantly work toward exhibiting pride in their business and community and setting examples for others. Recycler of the Year went to Gray Property Management. The award is given out by Mid Valley Disposal, the waste hauler for the city of Exeter.
The Exeter Annual Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Exeter Veterans Memorial Building.
