Visalia Courthouse is moving forward with a plan to upgrade the technology in the courtrooms
VISALIA – It’s time for an upgrade at the Tulare County Superior Court.
At last month’s meeting, the Tulare County Board of Supervisors approved the bid documents to move forward with the Visalia Courthouse Electrical Project. With the documents now approved, the superior court staff will soon start accepting bids from suppliers who want to help with the project.
The courthouse determined a need for additional receptacle power in the courtrooms in order to use modern technology. The additional power will be installed in different locations such as judge’s benches, attorney and bailiff desks, and at select wall locations for installing wall mounted monitors. The estimate for the project is $130,000 and will be funded by the Superior Court of California, County of Tulare.
