Deputies arrest Daniel Dominguez, passenger after discovering a massive amount of meth in the trunk of his car
TULARE COUNTY – Sheriff deputies made a major bust after seizing 51 pounds of meth during a traffic stop.
According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, just after 2 p.m. on Friday, June. 11, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 99 and Paige in Tulare. Deputy Williams and his K9 partner Tex, searched the vehicle for narcotics Tex led his partner to the trunk and discovered 51 pounds of methamphetamine.
Gang enforcement detectives were called to take over the investigation. The driver Daniel Dominguez and his passenger Arcelia Valdez were arrested and booked into Tulare County Jail. Sunday, June 13
Deputies were called to the 22900 block of Harper Avenue in Strathmore regarding a theft of a toolbox. When Deputies arrived, the victim told them three suspects took a worksite orange “Rigid” brand metal toolbox from the back of the victim’s truck. The suspects placed the toolbox on the back of a white pick-up truck and drove northbound on Road 230. The suspects are believed to live in Strathmore and are possibly related to other thefts in the area. This case is still under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office. Saturday, June 12
Deputies were called to the 29600 block of Road 152 in Visalia for an armed robbery. Deputies were told the suspect pulled out a gun and took property from someone in the area. During the course of the investigation, detectives discovered that 19-year-old Erick Aragon of Visalia had committed the armed robbery. During a search of Aragon’s home, the victim’s property was found. Aragon was arrested by Visalia Police on an unrelated crime and booked at the Tulare County adult pretrial facility. Friday, June 11
Detectives arrested Daniel Oldham, 50, for burglaries in Badger and Lemon Cove. Last month, detectives were called to the Badger area for a report of stolen items on a property. During the investigation, detectives were able to determine Oldham was responsible for the burglary. Detectives also learned that Oldham was responsible for another burglary in August 2020 at a property in the Lemon Cove area.
