Cutler-Orosi unlocks time capsule from 2004

The Family Education Center in Cutler-Orosi opens a 20-year-old time capsule on April 12

OROSI – The community of Cutler-Orosi took a trip back in time to 2004 when they opened a 20-year-old time capsule.

Filled with arts, crafts, photos and newspaper clippings, the capsule gave kids and parents a blast from the past. Dr. Carolyn Kehrlii, one of the founders of the Culter-Orosi Family Education Center, receives recognition and shares her involvement in the project. The event was sponsored by Cutler-Orosi Unified School District, the Family Education Center and Jacks’s Gas.

Multiple stakeholders in the community, and those who are intimately connected to the center, gave their testimony on how the Family Education Center has helped their lives.
