Lindsay parade blossoms in 92nd year of OBF

Lindsay celebrates their 92nd Orange Blossom Festival on Saturday, April 13; honors queen, court, and honored couple

LINDSAY –  Queen Miriam Gonzalez and her court were the headline for the Orange Blossom Festival parade as Lindsay’s premier event reigned in its 92nd year on Saturday.

The Queen’s attendants, Ashlynn Wilcoxson, Alyssa Ramirez, Rashelle Jauregui-Espinoza and Danalyn Alvarez-Perez waved to the residents of Lindsay on the mostly sunny April 13 morning. Along with them were honored couple Jim and Janet Kliegl and the Ono sister city mayor and delegation.

Lindsay’s Orange Blossom Festival parade float winners included Alternative education in first; Lindsay Girl Scout Troop 7082 in second; and Lindsay Hospital District Guild in third.

Their dance/baton/music winners included: Bailoterapia Lindsay Healthy Start in first; LHS Performing Arts in second; and Dazzling Dynamics in third.

Lindsay’s vehicle winners included: Tulare County Off Road in first; Lindsay Recreation Wellness and Aquatic Center in second; and Charter Oak Model A Club in third.
