Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives arrest Adrian Enriquez of Exeter for having more than 1,000 digital photos, videos of child porn on his phone

FRESNO COUNTY – An Exeter man has been arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.

Adrian Enriquez
52 years old

Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives contacted 52-year-old Adrian Enriquez of Exeter on April 6 while he was working at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fresno. Enriquez, who works as a federal officer at the hospital, was arrested after detectives found more than 1,000 digital photos and videos on his phone, which showed toddlers being raped and engaging in bestiality.

Detectives also executed a search warrant at Enriquez’ home, in the 500 block of S. Belmont Drive in Exeter, where they seized more electronic devices, which will be forensically examined for illegal material.

The Sheriff’s Department was notified of Enriquez’s possible crimes by the Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which followed up on a cyber tip related to the uploading and downloading of child pornography. The Task Force is comprised of 64 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies spread throughout nine counties in the Central Valley. It is dedicated to protecting children online and investigating crimes committed against children, which are facilitated by the internet and computer usage.

Enriquez was booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges with a bail set at $100,000. He posted bail the following night.

Enriquez is a veteran law enforcement officer who has previously worked for the Woodlake Police Department and Coalinga State Hospital. He joined the VA Hospital at the beginning of 2021.
