Goshen church vandalism prompts swift arrest

Tulare County Sheriff’s Office arrests two juvenile suspects in response to a window vandalism report at Mt. Zion Church

GOSHEN – In a midday incident, authorities swiftly responded to a vandalism report at a local church, where extensive damage to multiple windows was uncovered, leading to the subsequent arrest of two juvenile suspects at a nearby school.

Deputies responded to the report of vandalism just before noon on Nov. 8 at Mt. Zion Church on the 7200 block of Ave. 308 in Goshen. When they arrived, they discovered that suspects had broken multiple windows causing more than $1,000 of damage.

Through investigation, deputies were able to identify the two male juvenile suspects responsible for the crime and ultimately arrested them at 1:30 p.m. at nearby Ridgeview Middle School in Visalia.
