Tulare County Sheriff’s Office searches for suspect behind Valero Gas Station robbery

VISALIA – Deputies with the sheriff’s office have launched an investigation into an armed robbery that occurred at a Visalia gas station.

Around 2 a.m. on Feb. 28, deputies with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Valero Gas Station in the 8800 Block of Avenue 280 in Visalia for an armed robbery.

When they arrived, deputies learned a man walked into the gas station wearing a ski mask. He then gestured to the clerks that he had a gun under his sweater and demanded money. The suspect got away with more than $1,000 in cash from the register. Luckily, no one was hurt.
