Lindsay Police Department investigate murder after welfare check reveals man shot to death in home

LINDSAY – The Lindsay Police Department has opened an investigation into a murder case after finding a man dead in his home.

On Tuesday, May 21 at approximately 9:44 p.m., officers with the Lindsay Department of Public Safety were notified of suspicious circumstances at a residence in the 300 block of E. Samoa.

Officers responded to the residence and conducted a welfare check where they located an unidentified deceased adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. No other occupants were located at the residence at the time.

According to the latest report from the Lindsay Police Department, the investigation is ongoing.
