Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 at Exeter District Cemetery for Jimmie Louise Gross, 75, of Exeter. She passed away on Oct. 30.

She was born in Hobart, Okla. on July 17, 1928. She was raised in Oklahoma coming to California in 1944 settling in the Richmond area where she worked as a waitress and married Luke Mayabb. She later moved to Chowchilla in 1948 and worked in the Madera county area restaurants. She finally settled in Oxnard in 1953 where she became a care provider for the sick and injured. She moved to Exeter three years ago to be near family and attended the Church of God, (Cleveland Tennessee).

Survivors include her three sons, Pastor Dewayne (Bud) Mayabb of Exeter, Michael Clark and Rodney Gross both of Washington; two daughters, Shawnee Kay of California and Sheila Gross of Exeter; two sisters, Sharlene Stone and Carol Stenson both of Oklahoma; five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6 at Smith Family Chapel.
