A private family burial for David W. Adams, 93, of Tulare was held on Nov. 13. He died on Nov. 8.

He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Amvets Post #56 in Tulare. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching wrestling on TV and was an avid reader. He enjoyed fishing and going to the Coast.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Pearl Adams of Tulare; two daughters, Mary Stout of Tulare and Candita Parker of Zebulon, N.C.; one son, David Jack Adams of Bakersfield; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Peers Lorentzen Funeral Service, Inc., Tulare.
