Graveside services for Donald Wayne Maroom, 41, of Porterville were held on Nov. 18 at Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery. He died on Nov. 12.
He was born in Muncie, Ind. on Nov. 30, 1961. He was a resident of Lindsay for 38 years. He was a graduate of Lindsay High School and went on to attend COS in Visalia. He worked as a welder for four years. He enjoyed collecting cars, coins and books. He was a member of a book club in which he loved to read books on war. He was a Minnesota Vikings fan. He loved his three dogs and always liked to be with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his three sisters, Linda Crawford and Tammy Bowles both of Porterville and Brenda Shuklian of Fresno.
Arrangements were under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home, Lindsay.
