Services were held on Nov. 25 for Thelma Evangeline Walton, 88, of Visalia. She died on Nov. 22.
She was born in Chatham, Canada on Jan. 29, 1915. She married William Walton in Canada in 1936. They came to the United States in 1946 and settled in Southern California in 1956. She worked as an office manager for an insurance-medical office for several years. Mr. Walton passed away in 1993 and she moved to Visalia to be near family three years ago. She was a member of the Visalia Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include two sons, William Walton of Florida and Terrence Walton of Palm Springs; one daughter, Marlene Sundahl of Visalia; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
