A family celebration of life will be held at a later date in Strathmore for Ramona A. Koepp, 88, of Grass Valley, Calif., formerly of Strathmore. She passed away on Nov. 29.
She was born in Strathmore on April 29, 1915. She completed her college education, taught for one year, then moved to the Los Angeles area where she worked as a bookkeeper until she retired.
She was very active in civic clubs such as the Soroptimist Club. She traveled extensively and she remained close to her family.
She spent the last three years in Grass Valley enjoying time with her sister, Peggy Patterson and her nieces, Patricia Cattell and Pamela Herd of Sacramento, Penny Savelly of Grass Valley, Jerrie Kerr of Sparks, Nev. and Joanna Friesen of Houston, Texas.
She was a lady in every sense of the word. She was fun, she was beautiful, and she was loving. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Maude Koepp of Strathmore; two sisters, Peggy Patterson of Grass Valley and Hazel Friesen of Reno, Nev.
