Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18 at the Exeter District Cemetery with military rites by Am Vets Post 56 for Ben R. Valle, 80, of Exeter. He passed away on Dec. 14.
He was born in San Bernardino, Calif. on Sept. 16, 1923 to Joaquin and Isabel Valle. He was raised in Southern California and entered World War II serving in the Army. After the service he married Wanda M. Walton in Visalia on Feb. 12, 1948 having come to the Exeter area in 1947. He worked as a locksmith for a number of years. He was a member of Am Vets Post 56 in Tulare and the Church of Christ in Farmersville.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at Smith Family Chapel.
