Funeral services were held on Dec. 15 for Catherine Carneval, 94, of Lindsay. She died on Dec. 10.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1909 in Caulonial Reggio Calabria, Italy. She came from her native country of Italy to the United States in 1926. She was a homemaker and a resident of Lindsay for many years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Lindsay for 72 years where she was very active until her health began to fail.
Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Biddle of Lindsay; two brothers, Ernest Geracitano of West Mifflin, Pa. and Matt Geracitano of Glassport, Pa.; three sisters, Sylvia Curry of Gilbert, Ariz., Lydia Picciuto of Gold Canyon, Ariz. and Jean Sanutelli of Glassport, Pa.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Her husband, James Carnival in 1984 and a son, Delio, preceded her in death in 1985.
Arrangements were under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home, Lindsay.
