Chapel services were held on Dec. 10 for Tranquilina G. Ramirez, 78, of Lindsay. She died on Dec. 5.
She was born on July 7, 1925 in Fort Lupton, Colo. She married Daniel Perez Ramirez on May 7, 1940 in Mexico. She was a life long resident of Tulare County.
She was a homemaker most of her life taking care of the family she loved. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and a member of it's Missionary Club. She had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and flowers.
Survivors include four sons, Ruben Ramirez of Turlock, Joel Ramirez of Lindsay, Trinadad Ramirez of Ione, Calif. and John Ramirez of Porterville; seven daughters, Esther Marquette of Turlock, Josephine Lopez of Farmersville, Texas, Sara Medrano of Turlock, Angie Diaz of Sacramento, Minerva Pereida and Aida Zamora both of Modesto and Mary Paz of Sanger; brother, Pascual Garcia of Brownsville, Texas; two sisters, Euolagia Amaya of Mexico and Seferina Visciano of Brownsville, Texas; 31 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Arrangements were under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home, Lindsay.
