A memorial Rosary will be said for Anna B. DeVaney, 88, of Bakersfield, formerly of Exeter, at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2004 at Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel. She died on Dec. 25.
She was born on Dec. 2, 1915 in Exeter to Marion and Mamie (Maxon) Stiltz where she was raised and educated, graduating from Exeter Union High School. She worked as a secretary for attorneys and farmers in the Corcoran area before retiring as a library secretary in Kern County.
Survivors include her daughters, Michele Ramirez of Fresno and Patricia Lecair Hansen of Sacramento; sister, Gaye Free of Three Rivers; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
