She went to be with her Lord on Nov. 27. She was born on Aug. 29, 1918.
She had lived in Exeter from 1970 until 1998. For the last five years, she had been living with her daughter in Sherwood, Ark.
She leaves behind her children, Virginia Collins of Sherwood, Ark., Barbara Baca of Exeter, Marilyn Williams of Visalia and Jim Hammons of Channel Island, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Smith. She was loved my many and will be missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
