Private arrangements for James William Bradbury, 83, of Exeter are being handled by Smith Family Chapel. He passed away quietly at his home in Exeter.
He was born in Maysville, Okla. on March 11, 1920 to Earl and Lula Bradbury. He was raised in Oklahoma and served in the Army during World War II as well as spending 23 years in the service. After retirement he worked for Ventura School district for 20 years. He married Ruth Ellis in Santa Barbara in 1946, she passed away in 1994. He moved to Exeter two years ago to be near family.
Survivors include his son, William and wife Tina Bradbury of Exeter; son, Tommy Bradbury of Washington; one grandchild.
