Services for Jack Dossey, 94, of Lindsay were held on Jan. 2 at Webb-Sanders Funeral Home with Doug Dossey officiating. Burial was held at Tipton-Pixley Cemetery at a later date.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1909 in Marlow, Okla. He married Dessie Lawson in 1930 in Porterville. She passed away in March 1990. He was a resident of the Lindsay-Strathmore area since 1944. He worked for Brogdex Company for 40 years as a Field Tech. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was a family man.
Survivors include his son, Ted Dossey of Paradise, Calif.; daughter, Joyce Ledger of Lindsay; sisters, Lucille Walden of Exeter and Madiline Powers of Nevada; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dossey in 1982.
Arrangements were under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home, Lindsay.
